Overly addicted to pop culture and science I reached the point where I got away from my hometown to go to university, result: D&D party gone, LARP group gone, saturday nights spent at my friends home playing random games a talking s**t about things gone, heck even getting out for food, drink or coffee with friends has gone to hell, and social anxiety really does help... a lot...
I have a tendency to become a flibbertigibbet about anything that interests me, so talk nerdy at your own risk or find a way to shut me up if needed
Another thing that I miss is people who I can play MMOs/MOBAs with, that's kinda why I suddenly stopped playing those games, they get boring on solo after a while.
Anyway Ernest Cline and Terry Pratchett rock my world, together with the folks from Monthy Python, s**t I'm starting to make a list, I should stop, in a nutshell fantasy and scifi, 80s rock, modern prog, viking/celtic sounding folk music, and Community, Scrubs, How I met your mother, Game of Thrones, Breaking bad(so much for my promise not to make a list); ok stop.
I got out of an agonistic sport background "thanks" to injuries, so the little time occupied by my science and pop culture obsession expanded exponentially, but dayum I miss the air brushing my face while figure skating, and the adrenaline surge of the injuries, there's really nothing that matches it(that's probably the least geeky thing you'll hear from me aside from the next one), ah yeah, skating left me with an unealthy passion for tango music and dance...
So to summarize: nerdy idiot, with a sporty background and thus randomly mixed passions got into math olympics to become a fully fledged old school science geek, and now that high school time is over, doesn't really know what to do outside study.
